Atlantic Nursery's Gardening Workshops are a fun experience for anyone interested in gardening and creating beauty. Bring a friend, relative or child (age appropriate please) and double your pleasure.
**Be sure to give us a call or stop in and pre-register to reserve a spot! Class sizes are limited. For all seminars gardening gloves are recommended. Bring your own or purchase a perfect pair from us on the day of your workshop.
May 17th 11AM- Sig's Annual Tomato Talk- Come join Sig for his annual Tomato Talk. Discover new varieties of tomatoes that may change change up your garden for years to come. Learn the essentials for tomato and vegetable gardening and have all your gardening questions answered by the one who knows it all! FREE
May 28th 6:30PM- Container Gardening at Dusk- This hands-on workshop will cover the basics of container gardening and how to maintain your pot. Participants will take home their own container garden filled with lush annuals that they can enjoy all season long. All materials will be provided. Gloves recommended. (This workshop will be held outdoors weather permitting.) Materials Fee: $45 ($60 retail value)
June 6th 11AM- Welcoming Wildlife to your Garden- Come listen to our own senior CNLP and wildlife guru, John Meyer, speak about bringing nature home to Long Island backyards. Learn about the native plants that are 'must-haves' in order to get bees buzzing, butterflies fluttering and birds chirping. FREE
June 14th, 3PM- PAINT NITE- Back by popular demand! Our favorite Paint Nite artist, Dezi, will return for an afternoon of painting under the warm, spring sky. Please click here to register. Gather your friends and beverage of your choice. Light refreshments will be served. This event will be held outdoors weather permitting. Please park in parking lot located on Miller Ave.
